About me

My name is Giuseppe Basile, and I have over 25+ years in IT consulting with extensive international experience (in UK, Ireland, Germany, The Netherlands, Eastern Europe, Canada—where I earned my citizenship). I worke for major companies like Accenture, CGI and currently managing consultant at Capgemini. My background is in Software Engineering, and I specialize in GenAI and Agentic AI, IT architecture, PMP-led project delivery, governance, risk management, and solution design across several industries: Financial Services, Telco, Automotive, Health Insurance, Utilities, Gaming.
I am a builder, and active practitioner and AI architect. I research and experiment new AI methods on a regular basis. I also publish blog posts on Generative AI and Agentic AI and offer Ideas for AI implementation on a daily basis.
I am Finance-focused as well: I hold a Master’s in Finance (National College of Ireland) and I am Financial Advisor certified in Italy . I invest for long-term value, tracking mega-trends such as AI infrastructure, robotics, agentic AI, battery tech, eVTOL, EV, drones, energy, etc. with a strong emphasis on behavioral finance. I regularly share US market analysis, swing trading setups, watchlists and portfolios at investors.cogniflow-ai.com also sharing my research on You Tube and Linkedin. In the past I have published research in finance for SIAT (Italy) and CSTA (Canada).
Outside work I enjoy mentoring, teaching, reading, hiking, cycling, motorcycling, travel and, of course, research.

About my research
Cogniflow is an independent research blog and knowledge space dedicated to exploring the ideas, systems, and reasoning at the intersection of AI research, cognitive science, and critical thinking, in this exciting age of machine intelligence. I write research papers, create frameworks, techniques, tools, and discuss the impact of new skills required to take full advantage of the modern, ever-evolving technology. I offer deep dives into the concepts and methods that drive modern intelligent systems, from a practical and operative angle, always keeping in focus the broader implications of AI for society and knowledge work.
I don’t chase hype and news cycles: Cogniflow favours the long view. I prefer structured reasoning over shallow commentary, research literacy over hype, direct experimentation and the kind of focused inquiry that turns novelty concepts and ideas into clear, actionable understanding. This blog content spans technical analysis of AI mental models and architectures, tools, reflections on AI methodology and epistemology, and original thinking on how intelligent systems are reshaping the way we reason, build, work, communicate and validate outcomes.
Cogniflow is written for a technically curious audience — researchers, developers, and thoughtful practitioners — who want more than surface-level coverage of AI, who value ideas in motion over traditional frozen-in-time mentality, and want to cover advanced topics. To move us closer to the 10x promise of AI. Check the Wiki in the website.
